Tax Withholding and Information Reporting Virtual Advanced Bootcamp - November 10, 2020 (8:00 AM-12:00 PM CST)

This three hour course is an introduction to sections 1446(f) and 864(c)(8), including the fundamentals of withholding on transfers of non-publicly traded partnerships interests and publicly traded partnership interests, including determining the amount realized, withholding exceptions, and coordination with other withholding provisions.

The number of credits for both the Bootcamp and the Conference will be determined by the CLE board. We will be applying for approval with Minimum Continuing Education Legal Education Credit by the State Bar of New York. These activities conform to the standards for approved education activities prescribed by the rules and regulations of the State Bar New York governing Minimum Continuing Legal Education. It will be the responsibility of the attendee to verify with their home state regarding reciprocity credit and the forms needed to request CLE credit. Kaplan Financial Education, powered by Loscalzo Institute, will not be applying for CLE credit in states other than listed prior. Some states accept participation from other states, and this may vary depending on each state's rules and regulations. To verify acceptance and hours in your state, or other states, please contact the respective local State Bar Association.

We will be applying with the IRS for CE and reporting the credits directly to them following the conference, with certificates being issued following the conference.
