Companies struggle to provide employees with a set of guidelines that enable them to make decisions that meet the standards for effective and ethical decisions. Steven Mintz, Professor Emeritus at California Polytechnic State University, describes one approach, the PLUS Ethical Decision-Making Model. Steven Mintz, PhD, is a professor emeritus from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo. Steve has published dozens of articles on ethics and a textbook titled Ethical Obligations and Decision Making in Accounting: Text and Cases. He is a frequent speaker on ethics issues and writes blogs under the name Ethics Sage. His Ethics Sage blog has been designated one of the top 100 blogs on philosophy (#20 on the list).
